Who Owns The Rain?

Disturbing and rightly frightening, to think that princes and sons of men think to claim the Lord's blessed rain for their own devices. Yes we know water is tres cher in certain areas of the country. But, that mortal governments should claim the rain that lands on one's own roof? It is truly mind boggling. But perhaps not given our increasingly faithless and prideful times when contracts may be abridged by governmental fiat, when these fleshly potentates think to quell the industry of individuals and make of the governments a religion, stirring mobs to eventual collectivist ruin in guise of "righteous" anger.

This too is rather disturbing, mob rule, the uneducated and riled voice of the demos encouraged by words from Joebombistan. It is just the beginning I fear, of mob action manipulated from Washington DC - not truly a populist movement.

I talked to one of the phlebots today about government trying to quell personal ambitions and successes without mentioning the administration of this country. Funny thing, they agreed that the government has no business abrogating employment contracts. They did not agree on the rightness of this bit of hubris - which is just as frightening to any person who believes in free enterprise as the government claiming the rain on one's roof.

And so it begins.
