Iowahawk does a brilliant satire.
T can't help but wonder though if the "Lyres of Media" should in truth be the "Liars of Medea"
If you're a classically minded salty pup you'll get it.

Ok Jean "Nanny Mouse" Poole (clever btw) , Like the new blog but not as much as the old. Is a loss to the world that you have no progeny, a mitzva is what you do with that.
Sorry 'bout that SP. I think it has something to do with old age. I'm grabbing a spot of the vast electronic spakers corner, putting a paper bag over my head (with eye-holes cut out to see) and abandoning trying to be sophisticated and soignee and if not politically correct, than charmingly vaguely politically neutral. i.e. the other blawg...it was about trying to be what I wern't. And it's easier to be who you is if your coworkers and google-questers have no clue.
And it all got to be too much, the claque. I'm over who dissed who or who snubbed who or who stole whose idea and being torn about who is supposed to be friend and who is enema. Stay at home mommy bloggers who could social network all day long in a faded sweats. And an atmospher that could get damned like junior high...and high school...and collect...and a cube farm of women such as where I work.
Speaking my nonny-mouse mind might not win any awards for wit, but it is a nice place to dump the truth so that it does not flame indiscriminately the delicate sensitive swooning innocents out there.
Best I didn't spawn, SP. Do you know that the wakka-wakka-doo is often hereditary? And why subject a kid to that in combination with weeble-length legs and a parental unit whou would blow chunkc at the sight of a dirty diaper. Oy!
> ...and abandoning trying to be sophisticated...
Like it or not you are still one of the most intelligent and impressive beings it has been my honor to know.
